His impact on the sport is unmatched—guiding over 41 world champions at various stages of their careers and helping prepare six Olympic gold medalists, along with hundreds of amateur champions who passed through his legendary KRONK Gym.

But Emanuel Steward was more than a trainer.

He took the time to truly know his fighters—not just inside the ropes, but outside the ring as men. Training camps weren’t only about rounds and strategy. Emanuel cooked for his fighters, took long walks with them, went fishing, and shared his favorite pastime—playing pool. He understood that greatness in the ring starts with balance, trust, and care beyond it.  

A member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame, Emanuel Steward’s legacy lives on through the champions he built and the lives he shaped.
